Quality
that has flavor

In our roaster, we focus on quality and taste, not on commerce. Our unique coffee comes straight from Costa Rica . Importantly, it is purchased directly from the grower. This relatively new concept in the coffee industry implies a personal relationship between the roaster or coffee buyer and the grower. This means that coffee roasters using this method of purchasing coffee must have sufficient resources to visit farms regularly.

Despite its limitations, direct trade is a promising label, increasing the likelihood of good quality coffee.

Specialist
coffee

The coffee sold by the Mott Coffee Company is specialty coffee, imported directly from the grower (Direct Trade / Direct Trade), masterfully roasted in a high-quality oven. Direct trade is a form of supply practiced by some coffee roasters, chocolate producers, tea vendors etc. who build direct relationships with growers selling their products. After several years of searching for coffees with unique flavors, Mott Coffee has established cooperation with two selected coffee growers from Costa Rica.

Drying
of the coffee beans

The coffees in Mott Coffee are processed using natural methods, which is why they are characterized by a distinctive and smooth taste.
After harvesting the coffee, the coffee is processed and naturally dried in the sun for 21 days for the so-called African tables, under the care of a planter. By comparison, commercial coffees are dried in specially designed ovens, which accelerate this natural and complete process.

The way to buy coffee
The way to buy coffee

A relatively new concept in the coffee industry implies a personal relationship between the coffee buyer and the grower. This means that coffee roasters using this method of purchasing coffee must have sufficient resources to regularly visit the plantations. Microlots are small collections of the world's best coffee beans with a perfectly defined pedigree. Thanks to this, we know exactly what the variety of coffee is and how it is processed. The unique and special care of farmers over our coffee manifests itself in its intense and rich taste and aroma. Microlots are completely independent of other coffee crops and are characterized by exceptional attention to quality and production conditions. The very name Micro refers both to the small area from which coffee is collected, as well as to its limited amount. Our Micro Lots coffee has many benefits for both sides. Our customer has an extraordinary impression of drinking our coffee, and our grower maintains the traditional technology of processing coffee beans. While drinking our coffee, you are drinking exceptional, noble and precisely produced coffee.
